Prestige 23 New Feature: Past Statute Processing
Accounts going past statute, or nearing the statute of limitations, is always a concern. Our February New Feature for Prestige 23 grants new tools to help alleviate this important data management function.
The Past Statute Processing feature identifies all the past statute accounts and updates account fields based upon the type of expiration. It can update the account status, cancel date, collector, and account notes. There are two modes to the feature – regular and warning. The regular mode will update accounts that have already expired. The warning mode updates accounts soon to expire, with the time buffer set by state.
This feature adds configuration fields to the State and Agency Restriction Form as well as utilizing a unique client Extended Reference.
Additionally, there is a menu selection created for processing.
When configuring the past statute processing, the state can be determined by the debtor’s current state or the client’s STAT extended reference. Expiration dates are also configured based upon the date incurred, last payment date, or the delinquency date.
If you are currently on Debt$Net® Prestige 23, please reach out to Technical Support to install any of the new features. Not yet on Prestige 23? Please contact Julee Warner at 1-800-552-8397 or julee@debtnet5.com.
