Compliance That Stays in Your Hands
Debt$Net® runs inside the environment you already control. That changes the compliance conversation from “what does the vendor attest to” to “what do we already attest to,” and for many organizations that covers most of what is needed.
One environment, one audit scope
With a multi-tenant SaaS, your data lives in the vendor's cloud and the vendor's attestations become part of your audit. With Debt$Net®, you establish the environment, a cloud account with the provider you choose or your own servers, and our engineers install the system into it. Debt$Net® operates within the environment you control, so the policies, attestations, and auditors you already have keep covering it. Data exchanges with approved third parties, such as payment processors and credit bureaus, occur only through workflows authorized by your organization.
Your Instance
Debt$Net® runs in a cloud account you establish or on your own servers; we install it there. Unlike a traditional multi-tenant SaaS model, your organization retains direct control over the hosting environment and its controls.
One Audit Scope
Debt$Net® operates within the environment you control, so your existing policies, attestations, and auditors keep covering it. Data exchanges with approved third parties, such as payment processors and credit bureaus, occur only through workflows your organization authorizes, which may reduce the need for separate hosting or data-processing vendor assessments.
Your Access Rules
Menu-level security, user permissions, and the note history (append-only for collectors) are set and reviewed by your administrators.
Card Processing Stays Out
Card processing is handled by the processor you choose, under the processor’s attestation. All other data, including the bank details kept for post-dated checks and ACH, stays in your environment.
Compliance in the Workflow
Configurable controls designed to help your organization manage state and agency contact restrictions, communication frequency, and notice requirements, rather than leaving them to memory.
Your Data, Portable
Your accounts, notes, and history can be exported by your administrators, including if you decide to move on.
Controls that support your compliance program
Debt$Net® includes controls designed to help your team work within the FDCPA, Regulation F and the TCPA. Calling hours and state and agency contact restrictions are checked on the collector screen before contact, communication frequency is tracked on every account, letters and notices run through the automated notice series your policies define, phone numbers can be scrubbed for cell-phone status and checked against the FCC Reassigned Numbers Database, and every account keeps a dated note history. Your compliance officer sets the rules and Debt$Net® applies them in the workflow. When regulations change, we hold a meeting on what changed and invite users to attend.
What we provide
Rather than a vendor certification, we give your team what it needs to assess the system inside your own framework.
Architecture and data-flow description
A written description of how Debt$Net® is deployed in your environment, what it stores, and what leaves it (for example, bureau files and payment requests to the processor you choose).
Security questionnaire answers
Written responses to your vendor questionnaire, completed by the engineers who build and support the platform.
Control walkthrough on the demo
User permissions, menu-level security, the note history (append-only for collectors), and contact restrictions, shown live in a trial instance.
Deployment options
A comparison of running Debt$Net® in your own cloud account against your own premises, measured against your policy requirements, so you can pick the one your auditors already understand. We install and configure it in either.
Bring Your Compliance Officer to the Demo
We will walk through the deployment model, the controls, and the data flows on a live trial instance and answer the questions on the spot.
