Privacy Policy

Effective October 27, 2026

This policy explains how The Computer Manager (“we,” “us”), the developer of Debt$Net®, handles information collected through this website, debtnet.net. It covers the website only. Data inside a Debt$Net® installation is kept in the customer’s own environment and is governed by that customer’s agreement with us, not by this policy.

What we collect

We collect the information you choose to send us through the Contact and Request a Demo forms. Depending on the form and topic, that includes your name, email address, phone number, company, job title, state, your preferred way to be contacted, the details of your request, and any files you attach.

Like any website, our servers also receive the technical information your browser sends with each request, such as your IP address, browser type, and the page requested. We use it to deliver the site and to protect the forms from abuse.

This website does not use advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies, and it does not build visitor profiles. The page fonts are served by Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google to load them.

How we use it

We use what you send to answer your request, schedule a demo or trial, provide support, handle billing and training questions, and keep a record of our correspondence with you. When you submit a form, we send one automatic email confirming that your message arrived. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you submitted a form.

Where it goes

Form submissions, including attachments, are delivered by email to the appropriate team at The Computer Manager through Microsoft 365. The website itself does not keep a database of submissions. To limit abuse, the site holds the submitting IP address and email address with the time of submission in memory for up to one day, and then discards them.

The website is hosted by Render in the United States. We share information only with the service providers that run the website and our email, as needed for them to do so, or when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Email you send us is kept in our business mailboxes for as long as we need it to serve you and to meet our business and legal record-keeping obligations.

Please do not send sensitive data through the forms

The site is served over an encrypted connection, but the forms are meant for business inquiries. Please do not include Social Security numbers, card or bank account numbers, or consumer account data in a form or an attachment. If our team needs data of that kind, we will arrange a secure way to receive it.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you from this website, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to the records we are required to keep. Email support@debtnet5.com or call 800.552.8397.

Children

This website is meant for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Other websites

This site links to other organizations, such as industry associations and integration vendors. Their privacy practices are their own, and we encourage you to read their policies.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
